Salad Turnip

Small, tender, white turnips that are sweet, mild, and great raw or cooked. They’re totally different from the spicy, woody turnips you might associate with stews.  The greens are edible and pack a bold peppery flavour, with a hint of bitterness (much like mustard greens). High in vitamin C, and fiber, they also contain antioxidant compounds.  Sold as a bunch, wash before use and keep refrigerated.
