Dinosaur Kale

A Lacinato variety - the large flat leaves are easy to clean and de-stem.  The earthy flavour is more mild than curly kale. It holds heat better than other kale varieties, and so works well cooked, but is also great raw.     

Considered a nutritional powerhouse due to its high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants while being low in calories.  Loaded with Vitamins A, C, and K (more vitamin C than an orange). Sold as a bunch, wash before use and keep refrigerated.
