Napa cabbage is a gentler flavour, its leaves are crisp at the ribs, soft at the edges, carrying a buttery snap that yields without protest. Raw, it leans mild and juicy, a quiet crunch with a trace of meadow sweetness. Warm it up—stir-fry, soup, braise—and it turns silky and fragrant, the sweetness deepening, the bitterness almost nonexistent.

A good source of vitamin C, and folate. Easier to digest than other cabbage varieties. This will store for months in your refrigerator.
