Fresh Onions

Fresh and potent, onions have many culinary uses.  Drop them on your eggs or salad, great in soups and stir-fries; that onion flavour can complement almost anything. The white base of the plant has a strong flavour and is great cooked, while the green stalks are milder and great raw.  Very high in vitamins C, and K; also high in antioxidants, flavonoids, and sulfur compounds. Sold by the bunch; keep refrigerated.
