Red Kale

A beautiful purple-tinted variety. Earthy with a slight bitterness when raw, kale has a softer and nuttier flavour when cooked.  Very versatile, use in a salad or smoothie, bake into chips, or sauté (alone or in your favorite stir-fry). Considered a nutritional powerhouse due to its high concentration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants while being low in calories.  Loaded with Vitamins A, C, and K (more vitamin C than an orange). Sold as a bunch, wash before use and keep refrigerated.
